The Tagoreans is the oldest Bengali cultural organization in the UK, founded in 1965 by the Late Tapan & Gairika Gupta.
Over the last 58 years, The Tagoreans have been involved in producing pioneering and innovative musical, artistic, cultural, social, and educational initiatives in the UK, across continental Europe, and in various cities in India.
The event will celebrate the Festival of Spring - Basant Utsav to commemorate Tagore’s 162nd birth anniversary. It will feature songs, dances, readings and recitations of Tagore and other Bengali poets as well as Hindustani classical music.
The entire program will be curated in English.
